BLACKBIRD PART 2 - BLACKBIRD FLY Blackbird goes to Roulette seeking another student. In response, Roulette takes Blackbird to meet Black Canary, undercover as Nightingale, as she fights in Roulette's underground metahuman fighting circuit. Roulette announces Black Canary's next opponent directly after her most recent fight and Osmium enters the ring. Osmium reveals that he is truly Blackbird in disguise after being defeated by Black Canary's Canary Cry. Blackbird brings Black Canary to the facility where she is training not only training metahuman students on how to use their powers, but how to master and strengthen their talents. On her first day, Black Canary meets Owen (Psychic Suggestion), Felicity (Pyrokenesis), and Kimi while Blackbird lectures them on her reasons why metahumans should rule. Over the next several days, Blackbird teaches Black Canary to increase her power. Black Canary learns how to amplify her Canary Cry and even uses it to fly. One night while investigating, Black Canary sees Blackbird absorb Felicity's power of pyrokenesis. Rushing away to warn the other Birds of Prey, Black Canary runs into Owen in the hallway. When Black Canary explains Blackbird's ability and her plan to Owen, He psychically manipulates Black Canary into staying behind while he confronts Blackbird alone. Blackbird, however, is immune to Owen's powers. Blackbird absorbs Owen's abilities and makes him forget their confrontation. Black Canary bursts in to rescue Owen only to find out that, not only is she too late to save Owen, but that Blackbird knows who she is. Blackbird's next suggestion into Black Canary's mind is to get rid of the Birds of Prey. Meanwhile, Batgirl and Huntress have been looking for Black Canary. Their search is interrupted by a call from Oracle. Oracle has found Gemini who is being held at arrow-point by Green Arrow, who is also looking for Black Canary. Gemini agrees to help them all find Blackbird and Black Canary but warns them that they can't stop Blackbird. Figuring they need more help, Huntress calls in Nightwing for extra support.
